The running gag with the sidequests is pretty funny. I like the "No, but I can steal your stuff" bit.
The gay sex thing just doesn't do it for me though, sorry.

The graphics were fine (a bit squished for the main character though). It emulated the game fairly closely. I remember the original game, I beat that sucker good (all 151). It was a lot of fun, but the new games are just a disgrace.
Most of the humor here was middleschool-level at best, mostly the gay references and the names. I did find some of it funny ('Mash' telling the shop keeper "no" and walking out, "That's right, you have a stupid name")
I'd like to see where you're taking this. Keep it mostly free of poop and useless violence (y'know, except for the pokemon fighting each other) and this could be a fun series.

"It was done better 4 years ago."
First off, if you're gonna make a sprite talk, you really ought to use a rectangle instead of a circle. It doesn't fit the character if they're made from pixels but have this elipsis for a mouth.
Secondly, This song was done 4 years ago by LegendaryFrog and you can see it in the Final Fantasy Parodies section of Newgrounds.
I'd like to add that your original art was not very good. That's not a crime or anything but it isn't hard to create a pixel-inspired stage with a microphone.
The animation itself wasn't bad, you got the sprites moving smoothly and all, though not everything was in time to the music (the soundtrack bit was far too slow). You have a lot to improve upon. Good luck.

"No matter how hard I try I'll never know... what?"
Alright, nice effort. The music and art were consistant and the animation was timed well.
I wasn't surprised by the ending but that doesn't mean I predicted exactly how it was going to end. (I'm not gonna spoil it)
Maybe the main character should have had the courage to talk to the girl instead of bein a mopey mope.
There's a lesson in this. Self-pity gets you nowhere.

Okay, if you want to impress Tokyopop you shouldn't create DBZ-esque storylines and characters. Your art was clean and consistant and overall very high-quality. Your problem comes from the fact that you're obviously an enormous Dragonball Z fan (or at least you come across that way) with both your art style and ability to write a storyline.
Dragonball Z is not a highly-respected anime/manga anymore, seeing as how it used cliche storylines and repetative action sequences, all while using villians that had zero depth.
I would have LOVED this animation when I was 14, granted, but I am just letting you know that there is so much more out there that isn't DBZ or Inu-Yasha or that horrible One-Piece show. You should try watching some less-mainstream stuff (or at least anime that isn't showcased on Toonami).

"Taft was one bad mutha- shut yo mouth"
Yeah, I always had a soft spot for Taft. Guy just has moxie, but this flash, though good-hearted, fell short of his greatness. There should have been more to it and not so much with the jpegs and audiolooping.

It may just be cut-out graphics and an old Space Invaders game, but it was done well and didn't seem broken in any way. Good work.

I gotta admit, I knew the song was commin, I just didn't know Richard Cheese had done a version of it.
This was way funnier than I expected. The mouth was especially well-animated.

Okay, while the animation here WAS good, and the editing had no flaws whatsoever, this video suffers on CONCEPT.
I apologise to whoever this offends but nobody who retained any of their sanity could possibly still like Linkin Park (especially off their great-yet-GROSSLY-overplayed) first CD. Seiously. This is what's known as a LinkinBallZ video, where you take a Linkin Park song (either this one or the other that begins with "Forfeit the Game") and make a Dragonball Z (or similar) video to it.
Animate something else, you're quite good.
